RuneFest 2025 - Visual Identity
RUNEFEST 1/3:
I had the honour of creating the new visual identity for RuneFest 2025 after the event being on hiatus for 5 years. This included a new hand painted logo and typography, and overall visual style for use in both digital and small/large scale print mediums.
I produced many different potential concepts ranging from darker tones to simpler styles but eventually settled on something that felt familiar yet new, drawing inspiration from art deco designs to give it a premium contemporary air but also elements of grunge and runic symbology to maintain a sense the rougher fantasy tone sometimes found in the series.
